Ms. Tuohy’s career has spanned over fifty years of professional dance, teaching and artistic direction experience in England, Europe and the United States.

She has designed costumes and choreographed nine full length original ballets that have been staged over 40 times during the 38 years the company has existed, 20 years have been at the Star Plaza Theatre.

Gloria Touhy, MDE

Amanda Tuohy is a Certified Dance Educator, Columbia College Alumni, movement coach, resident choreography and makeup artist for IBT. She traveled and performed in the company’s featured repertoire for over 20 years.

Amanda Tuohy, Associate Artistic Director of Indiana Ballet Theatre, is also a Certified Dance Educator (CDE), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and AR-Dance/Movement Therapist (candidate) with an education from Columbia College in Performance and Choreography.
